According to a report by Fox News’ Trey Yingst, issues with aid distribution and potential new pathways for refugee admission are being considered by both the US and UN, with a focus on individuals from Gaza. US Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) spoke with Fox News Digital, expressing her concerns about the administration’s plan to admit refugees from Gaza into the US. Ernst stated, “The Biden administration is blowing off my work to prevent an Oct. 7-related attack on our own shores, “which shows just how seriously this president takes our security.”” She also criticized the administration’s plan to welcome individuals who have ties to Hamas, citing the risk to American ⁙⁙⁙s. The Biden administration has previously disclosed that it has assisted more than 1,800 individuals in leaving Gaza… with many of those individuals subsequently arriving in the US.
