FORT CAVAZOS, Texas ( KWTX ) – The III Armored Corps’ Facebook page has been hacked, Fort Cavazos announced on its own Facebook page on Saturday, May 11.
“During this time, please continue to visit U.S. Army Fort Cavazos for all updates and events on the installation,” the Army post wrote in its social media post. “For other installations that make up the Corps, please refer to their respective garrison and unit level pages for all updates.”
The III Armored Corps – via the Fort Cavazos Facebook page – apologized to its personnel for “any atypical, or nonrepresentative posts or ads that are popping up” on its own page.
“Please ignore as we are working with Meta to take care of this problem,” said the III Armored Corps, “We appreciate your patience.”
